Corine Chartré-Lefebvre studied with Nadia Côté at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec, where she was awarded a prize with great distinction and obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. She went on to perfect her skills at the Musik Hochschule in Stuttgart under Professor Christian Lampert and at the Université de Montréal under Louis-Philippe Marsolais.
A versatile musician, Corine had the opportunity to play early in her career as an additional musician with several Quebec orchestras, including the Orchestre des Grands Ballets Canadiens, the I Musici Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre Métropolitain, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Les Violons du Roy and the National Jazz Orchestra of Canada. She is currently principal horn with the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil and fourth horn with the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières.
