Gabriel Plante graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada’s playwriting program in 2015. Since 2012, he has written and produced three plays: Clap Clap, Cube Blanc and Plyball, presented at La Chapelle, OFFTA and the Chantiers du Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec, among others. He received the 2016 Gratien-Gélinas Prize for his play Histoire populaire et sensationnelle. Gabriel works to extract stories from their original context in order to present them from unexpected angles and reveal the dramatic potential in social practices that seem to have little of it.
