Jonas Arahkwen:te Gilbert

Jonas Arahkwen:te Gilbert (they/he), 34, is a creative living in Montreal. They were born and raised in the Mohawk community of Kahnawake where they have contributed to plays, music and other artistic endeavours since childhood. Professionally trained as a hairstylist, Jonas currently works on-set for film and television productions. Since 2016, they have been a contributing member of ReCollection Kahnawake— a group of local creatives consolidating stories, images and sounds for future projects.
