Léa Roy is a Montréal actor whose passion for performance in all its forms goes back more than a decade. As a child, she made her mark as a voice actor before making her Quebec television debut in the children’s series Tactik and Podz’s 19-2. More recently, she starred in the series L’académie, written by Sarah-Maude Beauchesne, and played Rosie in the second season of the drama series L’empereur. She also tried her hand at cinema d’auteur with Emmanuel Tardif’s films Speak Love and Soumissions and Francis Bordeleau’s Wolfe, in both of which she held leading roles. Léa graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal in 2023, and will make her stage debut not only in 2024 Collective’s Faire le bien, but also alongside a group of artists she admires, as a cast member of Deux femmes en or, directed by Philippe Lambert, which will tour Quebec in late 2024.
