Zach is a multi award-winning, multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Ottawa and is extremely grateful to Nina and the NAC for the opportunity to return to the 4th Stage - a space he first cut his teeth on 20 years ago, directing a production of Durrenmatt's The Physicists his graduating year. The last time he was in this space, his family's company Eddie May Mysteries won the annual Theatre Challenge, bringing home the prestigious Rubber Chicken Award. He is honored to perform again for hometown audiences, following his CONjure magic act at The Chateau Laurier for SNC Lavalin.

In addition to performing classical, musical and contemporary work across the country Zach is an award-winning director, having most recently helmed The 39 Steps for The St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival's 20th anniversary season.

Zach works regularly as a fight director and recently choreographed The Lightning Thief at Centerpointe (Suzart), Bang Bang, Macbeth (GCTC), Cyrano De Bergerac (SLSF), and Pipeline (Black Theatre Workshop). He leads classes and workshops, most notably at UofT, TMU, and Burning Mountain Co, taught intimacy direction @ York U, and teaches SPFX/makeup design in partnership with the NAC, which audiences can see this fall in the upcoming production of Into The Woods at Canterbury HS.

You can find him on the socials. All the love to friends and fam.
