Street closures around the NAC during National Remembrance Day Ceremony

Goolaholla

September 27-28, 2024

Rollo Bay, Prince Edward Island

Founded by the well-loved The East Pointers during their pandemic tour pause, Goolaholla was born from a long-cherished dream to invite friends met at festivals around the world back to PEI and show off its cast of characters, abundance of fresh, local, harvest-time food and cooperative craft beer scene, beautiful beaches and romantic fall landscapes. It’s a tribute to travelling, meeting people and bringing them home.

In October 2020, the inaugural festival was a four-day, 100-person capacity, socially distanced affair featuring The East Pointers, plus special guest, English singer-songwriter Lucy Farrell and visiting artists at the Rollo Bay Fiddle Grounds. It’s expanding to include a plethora of out-of-province artists for two days of bop, pop, folk, trad, dance, soul and rock’n’roll plus food trucks, an artisan village, bonfires, picnic blankets and sweaty dancing. Attendees can stay in the limited campground or in cool local accommodations.

In 2023, they were #SuperPumped to bring their festival dream to life with GOOLAHOLLA! - a two-day boutique music, art and camping festival in Eastern Epekwitk (PEI) - which SOLD OUT! It felt like a party, like we were all in together - it felt exactly how they wanted it to and they can’t wait to do it again next year.

Goolaholla means GOOD TIMES.
