The North Country Fair is one of the longest-running festivals in Alberta. The Lesser Slave Lake North Country Community Organization is a volunteer-powered not-for-profit society that has worked hard to purchase its own land and has been developing a beautiful campsite and festival grounds along the Driftpile River in the thick of the Boreal forest.
Entering its 44th year, North Country Fair is a four-day outdoor camping festival held in celebration of Summer Solstice. You can enjoy a diverse selection of music, workshops, crafts and children’s entertainment. The solstice sun barely sets and the music plays until dawn!
