Jérémie Niel

Since his childhood, Jérémie Niel has been immersed in theater. He studied science, history and political science before entering the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal to study directing. In 2005, he founded his company, Pétrus. Through his works at the crossroads of theater, dance, music and visual arts, he unfolds hypnotic environments that appeal directly to the senses of the spectator.

Attracted to a multitude of forms and mediums, he has collaborated with the dance company La 2e Porte à Gauche as well as with the music groups We are Wolves and Dear Criminals. Since 2016, he has also been a member of the associate artist committee at Théâtre de Quat'Sous.
